Why I Travel with Purpose: My Journey into Wellness, Culture & Slow Living
I didn’t become a travel advisor because I loved planes and points.
I became one because travel saved me. It softened me. It reconnected me — to people, to place, and to myself.
For years, I chased productivity. The to-do lists, the perfectly packed suitcases, the “how many cities can I see in 10 days” kind of trips. But somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t experiencing travel — I was just consuming it.
What I craved wasn’t more movement.
It was more meaning.
The Shift: From Fast to Intentional
My turning point wasn’t dramatic. It came quietly — in small moments that whispered, slow down.
It was watching my kids chase butterflies in a Florida garden instead of rushing them to another theme park.
It was sipping a lavender espresso in a village café and actually tasting it.
It was walking through a historic neighborhood and asking a local about their story — and really listening.
These weren’t Instagrammable moments. They were real ones.
And they changed everything for me.
What Travel Means to Me Now
Travel, for me, is not about checking off countries or collecting status.
It’s about:
Wellness: Not just spa days — but rest, reconnection, and rituals that nourish body and soul
Culture: Learning a few words in another language, tasting a dish I can’t pronounce, asking questions instead of taking selfies
Family: Sharing slow, soul-filling moments with my kids that they’ll remember — not because they were expensive, but because they were true
Simplicity: Choosing fewer things, done better — not more things, done rushed
Why I Became a Travel Advisor
I started this business because I wanted to help people travel differently.
Not louder. Not flashier. Not faster.
Just deeper. Smarter. More intentionally.
Through my work as a certified advisor — and a TICO-certified travel seller for Canadian clients — I now design trips that feel as good as they look. Trips that blend beautiful destinations with real human experience.
I partner with trusted brands like Classic Vacations and luxury hotels around the world, but more importantly — I partner with you, to make sure the trip reflects your why.
Because the best travel stories aren’t always about where you go.
They’re about what changes in you along the way.
Let’s Travel on Purpose
This blog is my space to share those stories — mine, and eventually yours.
If you’re someone who wants to travel better — with purpose, with presence, with a little more soul — you’re in the right place.
Let’s make travel feel good again.
